Good morning my friends,
Yesterday was an interesting day.
We had to postpone the client because of a scheduling conflict on their end, but I was brought out of the office for a bit for a few “personal things.” The Conference Call had been off by a few hours as well (you need to put PST on your times so those on the east coast do not get confused on Facebook!) So I was not able to attend the call.
Of course I touched base with the friend who invited me to the call. Told me I had missed a “Beautiful call.” Lol, probably more like a beautiful sales presentation call, but oh well.
Worked on my mother’s website for her second book, Lycan Revenge. Built a design, but we have yet to place content into the website as it is a new website and that will take some time obviously.
Today, I have some work to do with finalizing the airsoft site, then I have to work on a couple of other client designs and we will be smooth sailing.
I have also implemented ping.fm for all of my microblogging and social media communication needs. Ping.fm is a single social media site, which can relay your message to close to 30+ social media sites such as myspace, facebook, twitter, and other sites as well!
I also have yet to write a review about www.BrokeUp.com but rest assured that should be up soon! Go check out their website if you are single and in the Philadelphia Area.
If you noticed on Facebook yesterday, I had a small rant about the price of Rickenbacker Bass Guitars being hyperinflated. I remember a few years back, which is not too long ago believe it or not, LOL! I actually was pricing Rickenbacker 4003 bass guitars. The Rickenbacker Bass guitar was the bass for such bass players as Chris Squire, Geddy Lee, Peter Quaife, John Entwistle and several others.
A few years ago, I had priced a 4003 in JetGlo (gloss black) for $1299. Yesterday I had priced the same guitar, and they want $1949! I was like “Wait a freaking minute! I am going to pay WHAT for a Rickenbacker 4003?” Might as well stick to 30+ year old 4001′s since I like their tonality.
Ok friends, another Day & Age post in the can!
Peace Out
Thomas Howell
P.S. Wawa Hot Chocolate and Breakfast Sandwiches are GOOD!
