Yes it has been quite a few days since I have posted on this blog. Plenty of reason for being so damn busy with my personal and business life, lol. What better excuse?

Actually, I have been starting the hard shift transition to the plan that we have discussed a while ago (refer to THE PLAN.) Absolutely a hard, harsh transition but I promise the results are going to prove the efforts of what I am doing here.

We have fulfilled the requirements for the start of THE PLAN (freelance Job, The dog to kiss(Per Gary Vaynerchuk, circa 2008 NY EXPO) and a total red shift in internet marketing schemas.) and I am also getting into list building. I have been wanting badly to get into list building and marketing, but my lack of knowledge in Email Systems and integration with Squeeze Pages (Opt-in pages that ask for emails in place of content) kinda slowed me down.

Now that I have these newly acquired skills, I am looking to shift the focus from existing product marketing to launch and hot offer marketing. I will want to participate in a Few launch contests and JV deals in the near future.

I am also working on the Mighty WordPress Guide and looking into relaunching it soon. I have asked my insiders and we might be planning a JV launch coming up Very VERY SOON!!! Still figuring out the plan and ideal concept for Near Zero, which is the code name for my second info book.

The blog redesign? Still working on The recipe and success blogs and still looking towards a rollout later towards Summer of 09.

Ok ok ok ok ok OKAY! I know you looked at the title of this blog and you see me here ranting and raving about why I missed blogging over the last few days and it has become a mad raving tangent. OK.

Internet Marketing Convention in Philly? Yes over the last few days to a week I have been also looking at a few select channels to follow on twitter, find on facebook and look under each nook and cranny of the woodpile to find affiliate and internet marketers.

I want to start a meetup group. Do not neccessarily know if that would be a meetup.com group or how I will orchestrate it, but I am really interested in getting a group of like minded pros in our game to sit down, eat some good food and bullshit Wax Ecstatic about marketing. If I can get enough folks, even maybe get some folks from different internet marketing companies to have a presentation? Possible.

But, let’s say if we can get this on a larger scale, say a convention. Maybe a once-a-year event where we would use a Hotel in Philadelphia, a large one that could handle so many internet marketers.

We would organize a couple tracks, or even go the gnomedex route and have a single track for speakers and presentations as well. Imagine also having a large exhibit area for booths from various organizations such as CPA,CPS,CPL affiliate networks, software companies for PPC and marketing assistance softwares.

Heck, we would even have parties at various clubs and lounges too, as these conventions wouldn’t be fun without at least a couple of them!!!
