Today was an interesting challenge to the daily grind here at the newly minted Conshohocken labs: Getting a host to work with imap_open() in php. On the testing server that is local, the stock php system with imap support worked beautifully.
Just wait until that system hits anything outside of a Virtual Private Server. UGH pure hell! Spent hours reading and digesting forum post after forum post after forum post about how the programmer public worked around imap issures within their own hosting.
I read up on a couple of items that helped me solve the problem and now things are just fine! Now just a few tweaks and the autoresponder system should be up and running by tomorrow!
Not much more to report besides the fact brother and I went over to King Buffet at the Plymouth Meeting Mall today for lunch. DAMN did they up their game with the sushi end of things. I only had eaten the sushi and had a bowl of egg drop wonton mix soup. I was happy for sure! For a buffet, their sushi lineup is absolutely pimp and a must try if you love sushi. They even had tempura “wok and roll” cooked sushi too!
