If you happen to read Tim Ferriss’ NY Times Bestselling book, the Four Hour Work Week, you will pick up in reading his book a chapter called “finding your muse.”
A few years ago, on a whim, I started doing research and building a strong interest in currency trading, also known as forex trading.
At first, I was a clueless idiot and didn’t know the differences of a pip from a fibonacci arc and I felt that without having a community to communicate and explain my learning frustrations and experiences with other would be or experienced currency traders.
At first, I created a chat channel on the undernet IRC network called #forex. I knew for a couple of weeks, nothing was going to happen and that I had to play a waiting game. Within a few weeks, several traders and a few new to the game showed up and stayed, creating friendships that are still intact to this very day and regulars who were strongly passionate about learning and making money through the difference of currencies.
Then I created goforextrade.com. The site did not really amount to much and I was not too smart and savvy on social media back in 2006.
It took me until early 2008 to realize marketing, branding and what it took to really make a great web brand. I had taken goforextrade.com to a wordpress blog format which became a great success and eventually started monetizing and gathering awareness from the community as a site for numbers, product reviews and general opinion.
For some unearthly reason, my passion had dried up. I became involved with CPA marketing and although I did fine, I felt that it was not my truest of passions. Yeah, I do love the money that CPA marketing brings in, do not get me wrong there. I just needed to spark the muse that I have long left dwindling into disrepair.
As of May 2009, I had sold GoForexTrade.com for a song and thought I was done with the forex game. Well, once again it calls me back and this time, I am staying put for a good while! Try at least a couple of years!!!!
So, we do not have goforextrade.com anymore, but it doesn’t mean we cannot start over again with a new site. So, what did I conjure up for a great brand name?
ForexWorldDaily.com
Yep, the new site is going to be called ForexWorldDaily.com. This site is going to pretty take over from what GoForexTrade.com used to do and even add more to the craziness. I will have more news after a basic outline is made for content and the different features that my site will offer!
So raise a glass for the return of my blogging about the dancing of global currencies.
And as I used to say, but will once again repeat and many times over at GoForexTrade.com
