Good morning! How is everybody doing this fine day?

The 30th of January has been a day to celebrate for a long time since 1980. This time, we celebrate for the 32nd time, counting my birth, we place the 31st annual ring on the tree of life.

As we all know, annual rings signify growth on a tree. Annual rings can also tell stories of the life of a tree and the hardships and periods of prosperity that has been experienced.

In this case being relative to the tree, the Annual ring being slapped on my trunk have signified quite a challenge for 2010. Reading the rings, you could tell a few significant things had occurred.

For one, I had actually started a small side business called CodeFromPSD.com. Believe it or not, it was a very successful operation if you think about keeping yourself afloat between web design opportunities. I actually found a few great repeat clients and a few friends in the process!

I also had and lost my first BMW. It was a 1990 325 ix coupe which was a nice car. It’s name was BlauerBlitz, or Blue Lightning despite the paint color was actually Diamondschwartz. I had so much going for it and wanted to turn it into an asphalt peeler with a repaint and a turbo.

Unfortunately, I lost her on Keebler Road with a notorious COD: Timing Belt collapsed and took the engine. Bob Weaver from Prussian Auto bought the car from me and proceeded to chop her down and make a huge windfall! Bob, Do not spend all of that cash in one place now, unless it’s an E30 M3, lol!

Just shortly thereafter the BMW’s untimely demise, I had felt several pains throughout my body, not knowing what is going on. At the time, I didn’t have insurance and still do not. From what I know and after one costly ER visit, it seems like it is either something to do with either Celiac’s Disease or Crohn’s, which is rampant amongst my cousins on father’s side of the family. I have ran a few test runs with a Raw Foods diet, which have shown dramatic results that I would love to carry out in a 90 day run, taking observations and notes every day along the way.

Also with changes in several directional changes, I am sad to say that TWHowell, the web cooperative with my brother and I are done for. My brother and I just like to code/design and just code/design. We both currently have full time jobs that we love. Our last client is LoadPedal.com which is a great startup and for those who are Mechanical Engineering Professionals, Check out their site and forums!!! A work in progress, but a big success in the making!!!

I mentioned in the last paragraph that I have a full time job. Yep, no business ventures although I do have a freelance gig or project here and there.

Although this year presented some challenges, I am absolutely glad to report that we ended the year with the start of a great tenure at George’s Music at their headquarters in Berwyn, PA. George’s Music is a 10 store chain with stores in Pennsylvania and Florida and have a huge emphasis on the customer, not the bottom line. Our store’s retail support have a great culture, an eye in the future and a positive outlook. You want to be taken care of, come to George’s Music in any of our 10 locations. George Hines and Neal Pomerantz are AWESOME gentlemen to work for!!!

Without further adieu, let’s talk about age 31 and what we plan to carry out over the next 365 days!

Celebrating The Day:
Today, my brother and I are going to take a regional rail to the Auto Show. Knowing me, I will feast my eyes on some nice German automobiles, preferrably BMW, Porsche and Volkswagen. I will also look at some other cars as well and maybe plan some things for the future. Think a great goal for 2011 is to leave the year in a new car, A volkswagen for starters and if I am a really good guy maybe a BMW 128? lol!

Breakfast will be at home, but I am still deciding what the lunch and dinner thing is going to be. Maybe Freshi or 500 Degrees or Maybe PYT or some other place. STILL LOOKING FOR RECOMMENDATIONS!!!!

Later on, You can spot me taking photos at Grey Lounge for their website. I will keep you posted on this. Usually, Grey has a great drink special on sundays. Go ahead and Friend “Josh Newy” on facebook. Josh is the events coordinator and marketing guy for Grey and he books some awesome events.

Family:
As for family, we couldn’t be stronger. I would love to have my relationship with my father and stepmother improve, but sometimes I would just think that is wishful thinking and things are probably beyond repair on this one. My stepmother could only do anything but insult my mom and blame our existence on my mom.

Tina, I love you and dad and want to forgive you both, but nobody’s buying the bullshit anymore. My life is very transparent, an open book to many and I think you will live a better life if you just let go and realize that nothing will change in the current mentality, but just improve if you changed if and when you would positively convey your stepchildren’s amazing progress in recent years..

The comment that was made on the “greasy spoon” descriptive on my father’s and family’s cuisine was not to be an outward and offensive pejorative. Simply, I CANNOT EAT those foods anymore. It makes me very sick. I haven’t eaten the last couple of times that I have visited my dad’s restaurant simply because I CANNOT EAT THE FOOD ON THE MENU.

If you are blessed to be healthy, by all means visit my dad’s restaurant, TWHowell’s. The number is 609 965-6890 and call for a reservation for Friday night and eat the great food!

Health:
Two Words: RAW VEGANISM

For PROJECT 31, we are going as of next week to observe a 30 day and eventually evolving to a 90 day smoothie cleanse. Following the inspiration of those who have felt better, lost weight and regained their lives and the likes of Arnold Kauffman, Angela Stokes, Dan McDonald, Matthew Monarch and countless others.

Anybody have experience and can support me in the detox/raw vegan diet, Friend me at http://facebook.com/thomashowell . I need some great moral support, the usual channels are not in mind with this and I need some newfound inspiration.

With my move to Willow Grove, which I will cover shortly, There is a 24 hour gym nearby and looking to join and enjoy the positive benefits or an hour a day in the gym.

Income:
Right now, I am a full time web developer for George’s Music in Berwyn, PA. I love working there, great culture and the possibilities could be endless. George Hines is a very business oriented guy and LOVES this industry. If you are BLESSED to work for George’s Music, appreciate and cherish the opportunity.

Internet marketing is put off to the side for right now. I have all but given up the currency trading side of things. ForexWorldDaily.com is expired and will NOT be renewed. I am looking into other options and have a few on the table to explore sometime in the springtime.

On another note, I am possibly looking to get involved with JV’s in various talents over selling video based information products. I have discussed a few things in the last few months and the interested parties may act sometime throughout this year, either by summertime or earlier.

Real Estate license is still being held active with Mike Dunphy Sells Real Estate. PA Salesman License #RS274174 will collect another inch of dust this year, as I have a full time job and commitments on my free time.

Social Status:
The network is increasing everyday, meeting new people and new interests. We just have to keep on keeping on. Although the social network grows, we will have contractions here and there and respect the fact that it happens. I love my network and hope everybody thinks I am cool, albeit me being a bit annoying from time to time, but that is Thomas J Howell. If your social antenna is not on the same frequency, it is understood!

Lifestyle:
Along with the new diet and change in perspective, comes an improvement in lifestyle. My brother and I are going to upsize and move to a newer and better quality apartment in Willow Grove, PA. The upside to the place is a nice 22×4 Balcony on the second floor and is a snowballs throw to his job. He has the best commute in the world.

We would have within a short walking distance, Moreland avenue, which will have Sam’s Club, Walmart, Lowes, several great places to eat and a short distance from Willow Grove Park Mall and the Warminster Rail Line (Formerly known as the R2 Warminster Line.)

Down the street, Easton and York Roads go through Ardsley, Roslyn and Abington, which have a great laundry list of places to shop and find cool things to do. I am really blessed with the relocation and hope for everything to go well.

I will shed this fat off of my ass and buy all new clothes, starting with a nice North Face Jacket. Maybe I am becoming a Yuppie? Well there are plenty of them out there, I must be en route to becoming one.

HAVE A GREAT DAY, A GREAT YEAR!!!
